I am very excited to collaborate with my dear friend Giuseppe Traverso on this very special retreat! Four days and three nights in the majestic nature of Sueca, next to a small lake, is where you will find the Shambala Gatherings yoga retreat centre in Borntorpet. This is a retreat centre with a charming family atmosphere surrounded by Swedish nature. The surrounding area is characterised by deep forests and rich wildlife. Some of the neighbours we will encounter in the surrounding area will be moose, wolves and beavers. The facilities at the site include two yoga shalas, a yurt, a library, a dining room with a wooden terrace facing a lake, a floating sauna on the lake…
This is the perfect retreat for many reasons. We immerse ourselves in our yoga practice with two classes a day, including meditation and breathing work in our beautiful practice spaces. In the evening, we will enjoy traditional local saunas and ice baths, which are ideal for boosting your vitality.
December is the perfect time to visit this part of the world, go on nature trails, explore, read, relax, rest… and do lots of yoga!
The exercises are suitable for everyone; all you need is the will and desire to practise.
The food will be vegetarian and prepared with lots of love.

Each day combines silence, movement, nature and moments of connection so that you can return to yourself with clarity, calm and renewed energy. You will have the opportunity to book an appointment with Giuseppe for a session of Vedic Psychology.
The Rhythm of the Day
06:30 – 07:30 – Gökotta. Pujya.
07:30 – 09:30 – Dynamic yoga practice
09:30 – 10:30 – Breakfast
10:30 – 12:00 – Vedanta tools for developing a calm mind
12:00 – 13:00 – Free time / mindful walk in nature
13:00 – 14:00 – Vegetarian lunch
14:00 – 16:00 – Rest time / reading. Optional individual consultations
16:30 – 18:00 – Sauna & Bath Ritual
19.00 – 20:00 – Dinner
